Dr Amelia Hunt in the School of Psychology has been honoured with a James S. McDonnell Foundation Scholar Award for US $600,000 supporting her research on attention, perceptual continuity, and action control. The James S. McDonnell Foundation supports fundamental research in human cognition. Scholar awards have a tenure of 6 years and are awarded to research efforts judged to be original and important to advancing the state of knowledge of the field.
