The Developing Scientists Fund
The scheme will support 1 psychology undergraduate student to undertake research experience during their summer vacation by participating in one of the School of Psychology’s research programmes, under the mentorship of a member of staff. The studentship is valued at £1,000 and will contribute to the student’s maintenance costs. The placement is 8 weeks long. The placement will be offered to students entering the final year of their degree after the summer vacation.
The placement will be in any one of the following research themes:
• Attention and Perception
• Cognition
• Social Cognition
Applications for a placement in attention and perception are particularly welcome.
The placement will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Particular attention will be given to students who are interested in taking part in further study.
The placement is offered during the summer vacation period.
Eligibility
You must be studying Psychology and currently be in your 3rd year of study.
