Review and Progression
All PGRs will complete a review of their research every six months to set goals and objectives and to make sure that things are working well between them and the supervisory team.
PGRs also complete an annual progress exercise. These will usually take place around month nine for full-time students and the equivalent for part-time.
Six Month Review (6M) Exercise
This is designed to complement the annual progression exercise, primarily to enable timely intervention and support to ensure the student and project keep on track.
Annual Progression Exercises
These are designed to assess the student’s knowledge and intellectual abilities including critical appraisal of key issues.
