Biography
I am currently the HSRU/CHaRT Quality Assurance (QA) manager. I joined the Unit in October 1997, as a Research Fellow on the Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) study; a randomised trial to evaluate the effectiveness of light therapy in primary care. I then worked as the trial co-ordinator on the REFLUX trial, a national multicentre trial that looked at the best form of treatment for gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD).
As the HSRU and CHaRT quality assurance (QA) manager, I take responsibility for developing robust QA systems, integrating them in to the Units current best working practices.
