Biography
A GP, I have been awarded a PhD for my work 'The role of pelvic examination in diagnosing gynaecological cancer' after securing a CSO Clinical Academic Fellowship.
I am currently a Senior Clinical Lecturer in the GPCME team supporting both Y1 and Y2.

Research Overview
My area of interest is the earlier diagnosis of gynaecological cancers and how this can be supported by primary care in terms of examination and referral. The influence of help-seeking behaviour by patients is also key and I recently published a SR of the factors which influence patient help-seeking behaviour.

I have responsibility for delivering teaching to Y1 and Y2 of the MBChB programme.
Clinically, I supervise Y4 and Y5 medical students, FY2 doctors and AHPs such as PAs and ANPs
Non-course Teaching Responsibilities
I am a regent, providing support to several undergraduate medical students.
