Biography
Dr Nglaa Ahmad joined the University of Aberdeen Business School as a lecturer of accountancy in May 2022. She is Accountancy Postgraduate Research Coordinator and Library Representative of the Business School.
Nglaa completed her PhD with no corrections from the University of Aberdeen in 2022 with her thesis entitled "Critical Essays on Corporate Accountability in relation to Modern Slavery and Workers' Vulnerability in the Global Supply Chain".
Nglaa's main research interests are in critical accounting with a particular focus on corporate accountability and modern slavery in the global supply chain, gender equality, climate change and sustainability issues. Her research has been published in the Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal (AAAJ) and Critical Perspectives on Accounting (CPA).
