Biography
Dr Muhammad Wasim is a dedicated scholar and educator committed to sharing knowledge and experience within academia. He holds an MBA and a doctoral degree from the University of the West of Scotland (UWS). His doctoral research centres on investigating the interrelationships between different organisational orientations (such as entrepreneurial, market, and learning orientations), financial resources, and SME performance.
Dr Wasim currently works as a Teaching Fellow in Management at the University of Aberdeen. Prior to this, he was an Associate Lecturer at the University of West of Scotland and a Lecturer and Modules Leader at The London College. He is experienced in teaching various business management modules, including organisational behaviour, entrepreneurship, leadership, change management, HRM, business strategy, operations management, international business management, and research methodologies. Dr. Wasim has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate students from around the world. In addition, he provides supervision to undergraduate dissertation students, helping them acquire essential skills for conducting business research.
Dr Wasim has made valuable contributions to the academic community in addition to his teaching role. Through his research publication and conference presentation, he has explored the intersections of strategic orientations, the Internet of Things (IoT), creativity, financial resources, and SME performance. Additionally, he contributed to the conceptual development of Industry 4.0, servitisation, and circular economy through a systematic literature review. His work offers valuable insights for both scholars and industry professionals, thereby enhancing the knowledge base in this field.
