Biography
Kirsty joined the School of Law as a Teaching Fellow in 2021. Kirsty is a graduate of Robert Gordon University, the University of Aberdeen, and the University of Dundee. Following completion of her Law degree, Kirsty attained a Research LLM at the University of Aberdeen. Her research into the reception of the Roman quasi-delicts in Scots law was supported by the Clark Foundation for Legal Education and the Vikram Reddy Memorial Scholarship. Kirsty completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice before qualifying as a Solicitor and Notary Public. Kirsty was a practising solicitor, and appeared regularly at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, before joining the School of Law. Kirsty is a member of the Centre for Scots Law at the University of Aberdeen.
