Biography
I graduated from Glasgow University in 1998 with Commendation. I then spent eight years in Private and NHS dental practice. The next ten years I spent working with the Public Dental Service in NHS Grampian. Ten years ago I came to Aberdeen Dental School to cover a colleagues Maternity Leave and I have been here ever since, first as a Clinical Lecturer and now I am undertaking a PhD in Dental Education.
I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Member of the Academy of Medical Educators.
My MSc in Clinical Education focused on feedback and student learning styles.
I teach on the Bachelor of Dental Surgery undergraduate degree and on the MSc in Clinical Education.
