Current Research
Early Career Leverhulme Fellow, Project: 'Invisible Bodies': Pain, Power and Silence. A feminist theology of chronic pain and illness. (Grant number ECF-2022-771).
This project is exploring 'the gender pain gap', looking at health inequalities in women with self-reported pain, and the dynamics of power at play in how their pain is perceived and responded to. Drawing from interdisciplinary literature on health, gender, theology and trauma, this work will look to develop a multi-sectional analysis of female health inequalities, using women's own accounts of their lived experience of pain to explore issues of trauma, silence and disbelief.

Recipient of a Trinity College Doctoral Scholarship.
Awarded the Clark Mile End grant for future promise.
Awarded a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship (Grant Number ECF-2022-771)
