August 2013 - : Professor; August 2010 - July 2013: Reader; August 2007 - July 2010: Senior Lecturer; September 2003 - July 2007: Lecturer School of Engineering, Aberdeen University, UK
My research interests are in non-smooth systems, linear and nonlinear dynamics of continuous media, machines and structures and fracture mechanics, in particular dynamic (stationary and non-stationary) contact problem, impact, wave propagation in inhomogeneous media, crack growth, dynamic testing of the materials, etc.
