Research Overview
I am a mathematical modeller of complex biological systems. I apply techniques from statistical physics, mathematics and computer science in order to elucidate the mechanisms that underpin the basic building blocks of life.
Often applying stochastic modelling to systems of interacting biological components, I currently focus on transcription and related areas including chromatin, nucleosome chaperoning and metabolic cycling.
