Biography

Andrew is a highly experienced Town Planner and Environmental Lawyer with over 30 years’ experience working on an extensive range of project, policy, and Board commissioning both in the public and private sectors. Andrew has completed tenures on multiple Boards not least as an Appointed Member of Committee on Radioactive Waste Management during a key period in its history in defining the strategy and direction of a GDF in the United Kingdom.  In addition, he extended his experience on the NDA Research Board (Nuclear Decommissioning, Small Modular Reactors and Fusion), and as an Appointed Member of Strathclyde Partnership for Transport and Non-Executive Director at Nevis Technologies Limited.

His area of experience is in developing and securing consents for large scale infrastructure projects across multiple consenting regimes.  He brings strength to projects delivery and management on a broad range of infrastructure projects including nuclear new build, advanced nuclear technologies, airport expansion projects, deep-water ports, light and heavy rail, bridge, conventional and renewable energy, and waste projects across the UK and overseas.
