Biography

Mr. Ameer Hameed is currently a PhD student at the university of Aberdeen. His PhD research is focused on impact of grain roughness on porous media flow.  His employment as a researcher& a PVT lab tester has begun since 2018 in PRDC, Ministry of Oil, Iraq. He has a BSc & an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from University of Technology in 2014 and 2017, respectively.

An Arabic mother tongue and a good speaker in English language.

Experienced in the following research with the related modern softwares: Phase behavior, Well Logging, Geological & Reservoir Modeling, Geostatistics, Spatial Data Analysis, Asphaltene, Acidizing, Hydrofracturing, polymer flooding & Financial Feasibility Study. Aspire to conduct machine learning (like using Python) in reservoir engineering.
