The University of Aberdeen has been named in the top 150 Universities in the world, according to new global rankings.
The University has risen to 148th in the QS World University Rankings, released today.
University of Aberdeen Principal, Sir Ian Diamond said: “We are delighted to see our substantial investment in the quality of the student experience at the University of Aberdeen reflected in this rise in international rankings.
“Particularly pleasing is our improved score for references in academic journals, and academic reputation which further reinforces our global standing in research excellence.”
The University has risen 14 places compared to the same time last year when it was ranked 162nd in the world.
