Prospect CPD, the University’s centre providing Continuing Professional Development (CPD), has been invited to speak today at the World Open Learning Conference and Exhibition in Birmingham, the largest and most prestigious conference of this sort in the world. The list of 82 companies attending the presentation include senior training and HR managers from blue chip companies, public administration and services.
John Mackie from Prospect CPD will describe their experiences with the “Embedding E-Learning” project, developing and implementing a learning programme for Small and Medium Enterprises. The programme, designed for workplace learning, especially in computer-based and technology-based training, develops “Learning Leaders” to support and lead learners in the workplace.
The project was undertaken in partnership with Scottish Enterprise Grampian and funded by the ESF. Renee Raper of Learning-Channel.com, co-developer of the project, will chair the presentation, and Angela Sneddon of Langstane Press Ltd. will describe her experiences as a “Learning Leader.”
