Deputy First Minister and leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats Nicol Stephen visited Scottish Politics students at the University of Aberdeen on Friday, April 21.
The informal visit formed part of a series of sessions aimed at building on the strong practical element of the Honours course, run by Dr Paul Cairney, which has also seen talks given by senior civil servants and representatives of local government this year, and Alex Salmond, Leader of the Scottish National Party, last year.
The students will also travel to the Scottish Parliament in May to speak with First Minister Jack McConnell, as well as Richard Baker MSP and Aberdeen University Rector Robin Harper MSP.
