Director of Digital & Information Services at the University, Brian Henderson, has won a top information and technology award.
Brian scooped the UCISA CIO/Director of the Year award which celebrates “outstanding contribution by an exemplary leader who demonstrates vision, innovation, transformation and professional excellence”.
UCISA described Brian as a ‘role model not only within their institution but throughout the wider UCISA community’.
Brian said: “This award belongs to the entire Directorate of Digital & Information Services and is recognition of the great work that is being done across a number of crucial areas. I’m delighted for everyone involved.”
The UCISA Awards recognise, celebrate and promote the outstanding achievements and innovation of staff working in or supporting technology in UCISA member organisations, and the application of digital solutions which positively transform the experience of students, academics and professional staff.
UCISA is a membership organisation that represents almost all the major UK universities and higher education colleges with a growing membership among other educational institutions and commercial organisations interested in information systems and technology in UK education.
