The rankings are based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.
Speaking of their achievement, Professor Tim Ingold advised that ‘Established in 2002, the Department of Anthropology at the University of Aberdeen has grown from small beginnings to be among the top 100 worldwide. This recognition is a tribute to the incredible energy, imagination and commitment of our staff and students, who have worked together to build it up into the thriving intellectual community it is today’.
