The health pathway within the MSc Applied Economics combines a strong background in economic and economic policy with a specialisation in the economics of health. The pathway draws on expertise from the Health Economics Research Unit (HERU) at Aberdeen which is one of the leading centres in health economics in Europe. This pathway will provide a springboard for careers in health economics. There are numerous graduate job and career opportunities in health economics nationally and internationally, including academia, government and NHS, health economics consultancies, pharmaceutical companies and international organisations such as the WHO, the UN and the World Bank.
