Moving Summit on Oil and Literature:Oil Cities

Artist Linda Karin Larsen's work accompanied author Steffen Sorum and academics from Aberdeen and Stavanger, as they discussed the nature and character of cities marked by a rapidly growing oil industry. Free event - open to all.

This successful seminar is part of a pilot project run by Kappitel, Stavanger's International Festival of Literature and Freedom of Speech.

Its aim is to bring discussions about relations between industry and the arts to cities and regions in the North Atlantic including Aberdeen, Reykjavik and Nuuk.
