The license for Minitab 16 has been renewed
What is happening?
The license for Minitab 16 has been renewed and single use licenses and some on campus licenses may need to be manually updated to continue using the software.
What should you do?
If you run Minitab and the Multi-User License Utility window opens, then you need to manually update your license. You will need your username and password to download the updated license file from the Downloads Service Website.
- Save the file minitab.lic to the Minitab 16 folder (the default locations are C:Program FilesMinitab 16 or C:TempMinitab 16).
- In the Multi-User License Utility window, check Specify the License File.
- Click to Browse and locate the license file.
- Then highlight the minitab.lic file that you downloaded earlier.
- Click Ok, and Minitab 16 will now open.
