Immpact researcher helps to prepare family planning topic guide for key decision makers

Immpact is a member of the Health Education and Resources Team (HEART) and works with partners to support a range of knowledge products for time pressured decision makers. Immpact researcher, Lovney Kanguru, has recently helped to produce a family planning topic guide which presents a summary of family planning.

The guide reviews existing literature, carefully examines what the current knowledge is and where the important issues or problems lie and what works.  This guide was produced as a result of a reading week held for the UK Department for International Development (DFID) advisers in mid-2012. The topics and readings were chosen by experts in the field but are not a comprehensive review of all family planning literature. The guide is mainly aimed at policymakers, advisers, managers and practitioners.
