The results of the annual Aberdeen University Students' Association (AUSA) elections have been announced.
19 candidates ran for 12 positions in the polls, which saw 2196 individual students cast approximately 15,000 votes
After the votes were cast and counted, Emily Beever was elected as next Student President.
In her post Emily will represent the institution’s students on University Committees, and hold overall responsibility for the running of AUSA, among other duties.
The other successful candidates who will represent the University’s student body in areas including sport, education, welfare, societies and equal opportunities, are:
