Interim solution for ongoing printing problems
What is happening?
Further to our maintenance on the Multi-Functional devices yesterday, we are aware that some users are still experiencing considerable delay when printing to MFD-PULL-BW and MFD-PULL-COLOUR queues.
What should you do?
If you are having problems printing to either the Black & White or Colour queues, we suggest that you choose the MFD-PULL-PS queue in the interim. If you do not have MFD-PULL-PS in your printer options, you can add this by doing the following:
- Click on the Windows button
- In the search box, type \printanywhere.abdn.ac.ukMFD-PULL-PS
- Press return
- If prompted to Set as Default, choose Yes.
DIT service engineers are still continuing to investigate in conjunction with our external vendors.
