These are just some of the diverse topics being tackled by scientists as part of the University of Aberdeen’s four key research themes of Energy, Environment and Food Security, The North and Pathways to Healthy Living.
Next Sunday (May 12) the public will get the chance to hear more about the research being conducted in these are at the University’s inaugural May Festival.
The heads of these research themes are taking part in the Festival’s Hot Topics: The Big Debate event which is free, open to all and taking place in the King’s Conference Centre between 6pm and 7.45pm.
