‘Why are our trees dying?’ will be the topic of discussion at the launch of the Café Scientifique - Aberdeenshire programme in Inverurie tonight (Tuesday, March 19).
The event, which is organised by the University of Aberdeen’s Public Engagement with Research Team, is free to attend and will take place at the town's Acorn Centre on West High Street at 7pm.
Dr Stephen Woodward will lead the discussion which will look at what is causing the decline in tree health and what can be done about it.
This event is part of the spring/summer Café programme, which continues until June. All events in the programme are free and no booking is required.
