Hundreds of prospective postgraduate students are expected to descend on the University of Aberdeen on Wednesday (November 9) as the institution hosts its annual Postgraduate Open Day.
Enhanced career prospects and potential higher earnings will be just some of the benefits of postgraduate study highlighted at the event which takes place at Elphinstone Hall at the University’s King’s College Campus from 11am – 3pm.
Visitors will be able to learn more about the vast range of postgraduate opportunities offered by the University which include more than 150 taught postgraduate courses, a wide selection of research programmes and Continued Professional Development courses.
Talks on key topics such as postgraduate funding and the admissions process will take place over the course of the day, and attendees will also have the chance to participate in campus tours of the historic King’s campus, state-of-the-art new library and the Olympic standard Aberdeen Sports Village.
Those attending will also receive a welcome pack which includes a 2Gb USB memory stick containing information on programmes, funding, details on how to apply as well as other useful information relating to Postgraduate Study.
