One of the three students who received funding from the University of Aberdeen Centre for the North Research Fund to advance the Centre's key research priorities and promote Northern research at the University.
Maryann attended the Summer School in Manuscript Studies that was held from the 6th to 15th of August, in Reykjavik, Iceland. It provided training in:
- palaeography
- codicology
- transcription of Scandinavian manuscripts
- editorial technique
- textual criticism
This was a collaboration between the Arni Magnusson Institute for Icelandic Studies, the University of Iceland, the University of Copenhagen and the National and University Library of Iceland.
