The School of Natural and Computing Sciences, in association with The Data Lab, is offering 2 scholarships to help cover the cost of tuition for Scotland-based students commencing the MSc Artificial Intelligence programme in September 2024.
The Data Lab MSc Artificial Intelligence Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit to two students who
- have accepted an offer of admission to the MSc Artificial Intelligence (full time) programme commencing in September 2024, and
- are classified by the University as 'Home' students for tuition fee purposes, and
- who meet the Scottish Government’s Residency conditions. Please refer to this SAAS.gov.uk guidance for clarification. EU students with settled or pre-settled status may be eligible.
The University of Aberdeen has over 30 years’ experience, and a world-wide reputation in AI-related research, focusing on areas such as machine learning, data science, natural language generation, and multi-agent systems. The MSc Artificial Intelligence programme covers the theoretical underpinning of these subjects as well as the technology used to apply the underlying theories of AI to real-world problems. Students also learn how to engineer and evaluate AI systems.
Our close industry links mean students have opportunities to apply their skills through training and networking events and industrial placements organised through organisations such as the Data Lab, Intel AI Academy, IBM, Intelligent Plant, and Aberdeen City Council.
How to Apply
Eligible applicants, who have accepted an offer of admission to the MSc Artificial Intelligence programme, will be contacted by the University of Aberdeen and invited to submit a Data Lab scholarship application to the Data Lab for a decision.
