University offers fully funded online study to help people upskill and reskill

The University of Aberdeen is offering fully funded online study opportunities to help people upskill and reskill, thanks to support from the Scottish Funding Council and National Energy Skills Accelerator.

The opportunities are being offered across 28 online courses, covering a range of subject areas and disciplines including energy, law, data, business and healthcare.

Funding for these course places is being provided by the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) and the National Energy Skills Accelerator (NESA) with support from the Scottish Government’s Just Transition Fund for the North East and Moray.

Applications are now open to people who are resident in Scotland and will close on Sunday 26 November.

Robin Cummins, Head of Online Education at the University of Aberdeen, commented:

“The funding we have received from SFC and NESA will offer fully funded online learning opportunities across a range of our established online courses for people looking to reskill or to enhance their current CV and job prospects.

“Successful applicants will benefit from world-leading teaching from experts across a range of disciplines, with the flexibility to fit study around work and home.

“This is the latest round of fully funded online learning opportunities that we have offered in partnership with SFC, with hundreds of people in the north-east of Scotland having benefited from these opportunities.

“We expect this current round to be just as popular as in previous phases, and I would encourage anyone who is interested in applying to do so as soon as possible before applications close on Sunday 26 November.”
