The University of Aberdeen has consolidated its place in the UK's top 20 universities, according to the new Times/Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024, published today.
Aberdeen has retained 19th place in the rankings, the University’s third consecutive top 20 UK position in the guide.
Among Scottish universities, Aberdeen has risen one place to fourth.
The University was also placed ninth in the UK for Student Experience and eighth in the UK for Entry Standards.
At subject level, Anatomy & Physiology has again ranked first in the UK, with another six areas ranking in the Top 10 in the UK: Anthropology (7th), Medicine (7th), Sports Science (7th), English (8th), Geology (8th), and Law (9th).
The new ranking comes just a week after the University of Aberdeen achieved its highest ever position (12th) in the Guardian University Guide.
