Australian Evening with the Biggest Name in British Cooking

The celebrated TV chef and Aberdeen University Rector Clarissa Dickson Wright will host an evening filled with hilarious anecdotes and mouth-watering recipes inspired by life in Oz to help support Aberdeen University Rugby Football Club’s forthcoming tour of Australia (June 15 – July 5).
An Australian evening with the biggest name in British cookery takes place in the University’s Elphinstone Hall on Monday, June 26th at 7:30 pm.
Clarissa Dickson Wright is best known to more than 70 million television viewers across the world for her part in the award-winning series Two Fat Ladies with the late Jennifer Paterson. A talented cookery writer and columnist for Scotland on Sunday and Harpers and Queen, she owns The Cook’s Bookshop in Edinburgh’s Grassmarket and runs a catering business at Lennoxlove House, the family home of the Dukes of Hamilton.
All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Aberdeen University Rugby Football Club’s “Australia 2000” Travel Bursaries.
Tickets for the evening, which include wine and canapés, are £12.
