Recruitment officers at the University of Aberdeen will take to the road again this year for a series of parents’ evenings throughout Scotland.
Parents of youngsters interested in studying at the 500-year-old institution this year will have an opportunity to meet members of staff and student representatives to find out more about the University student life in the city. They will also hear about the admissions process, student funding, student support, and will receive an overview of the University and its academic strengths. Questions will be welcomed.
The parents’ information evenings have been organised by Student Recruitment Services and follow on from the success of previous years. The roadshow will take in events in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Inverness.
Director of Student Recruitment & Admissions Services, Lori Manders said: “Choosing a university is a big decision for families. Feedback from past parents’ evenings has shown that these evenings help families make an informed choice.
