Over 1500 students and graduates are expected at the first Scottish Graduate Recruitment Fair of 2002 to be held in Aberdeen on Wednesday May 15, 2002.
Peter Fantom, University of Aberdeen Careers and Appointments Service said: "Our Fair enables us at the University of Aberdeen Careers and Appointments Service to continue our successful collaboration with RGU Careers Advisory Service. This ensures the best graduates attend; the broadest range of international, national and regional employers visit and the widest publicity is available. All working together to ensure the continued success of this event."
Christine Buchanan, RGU's Student Services Manager said: "This is the first in a programme of national graduate careers fairs being organised by AGCAS (Association of Graduate Advisory Services) and will provide an opportunity for graduates to tap into the huge range of job opportunities on offer. The focus of the fair is very much on recruitment and employers are attracted by the range of highly qualified graduates seeking employment, including around 2,000 vocationally qualified graduates from RGU."
