Catriona Edge, Vice President Sport, University of Aberdeen, said: "It is wonderful to be part of the Guiness Granite City Challenge, which is now in its seventh year, and like the Boat Race is a fantastic event for students, the universities and the City.
"Having won the event every year for the last six, the University of Aberdeen will naturally want to win again this year. However, while it is a competitive event, regardless of whoever wins, it is a great sporting event that brings the two university communities together."
The prize-giving ceremony will be held at Sivells, Gallowgate Union. In addition to the prize shield being presented to the winning university, there will be individual trophies for the winning Captain for each sport. Prizes will also be awarded for best sportsman, best sportswoman, and fair play.
