The University of Aberdeen's Language Centre will be saying bonjour, Guten Tag, buongiorno, buenos dias to a new term of language courses starting from September 23. The courses include day and evening courses in French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, German, and Russian and are open to everyone across the North-east from professionals in business or education, training or tourism to those with their own personal interest in learning a language.
The start of the new term of courses will coincide with European Day of Languages on Friday 26 September 2003 which is being celebrated by schools, FE colleges and Higher Education institutes throughout Britain and Europe.
French and Spanish have once again proved to be the most popular languages but there are a limited number of places still available on all the language courses and members of the public are invited to contact the Language Centre by telephone 01224 272537 or e-mail: langcen@abdn.ac.uk.
