The Zoology Museum at the University of Aberdeen is playing host this month to the travelling exhibition of the BG Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition.
This is an annual competition but is the first time that it has visited Aberdeen. The display includes 80 fabulous and breath-taking photographs from all over the world and covers wildlife, animals, behaviour, plants, underwater, and wild places.
Martyn Gorman, Reader in Zoology, at the University, said: "This year's exhibition is one of the best yet, in terms of the quality of photographs which have been taken. The standard gets better and better year on year.
"I would like to invite anyone who is interested in wildlife photography to come down to the exhibition and view the award-winning wildlife photographs we have on display. This is an opportunity to see some of the best wildlife photographs ever taken."
The exhibition will run from October 4 - November 9, and can be viewed between 9.00am and 6.00pm, in the Zoology Building. Admission to the exhibition is free but donations will be welcome.
For further details on the exhibition, please contact Martyn Gorman, Reader in Zoology, Head of Discipline of Zoology, at the University of Aberdeen, to discuss on: (01224) 272850.
