The University of Aberdeen Careers Service re-launches with a new look today (Tuesday 28 October).
Following a move of premises over the summer, the vital service for students has been revamped with a new Careers Service Handbook and website reflecting the facility's forward thinking approach to helping students find their career direction.
The Careers Service will be officially re-launched this afternoon with an event on the 2nd floor of The Hub on the University's King's College Campus - where the Careers Service is now located having moved from its previous home in College Bounds.
The event, which takes place from 1 – 2 pm, will offer students the opportunity to discover more about the tools, facilities and advice provided by the Careers Service.
Free pizza will be available at the event with attendees also given the opportunity to enter a free prize draw to be in with a chance to win a Nintendo Wii.
The re-branding of the Careers Service has been supported by a £10,000 donation from Raeburn Group Limited – Recruitment Specialists.
Representative from Raeburn will be available at the event to give advice to students taking that next step on the career ladder or those looking to support their studies through part time employment.
