Innovate returns to Aberdeen

Innovate returns to Aberdeen

The business community will get another opportunity to hear about ground breaking technologies being developed at the University of Aberdeen.

The third in the popular Innovate with Aberdeen series will take place on September 18 at Elphinstone Hall, King's College, University of Aberdeen.

Innovate gives all sectors of industry a unique insight into the potential collaboration, partnership and licensing opportunities that exist with leading University researchers.

Previous Innovate events – featuring exhibitions and public talks - have taken place in Edinburgh and Aberdeen and proved hugely popular.

This latest Innovate will focus on energy, health and nutrition and policy.

Professor Dominic Houlihan, Vice Principal for Research and Commercialisation at the University, said: "Innovate with Aberdeen offers the business community, technologists, policy makers and influencers a fantastic opportunity to discover more about the work and innovations of our pioneering researchers.

"It also introduces new opportunities for collaboration with all the major industry sectors."

Anyone interested in finding out more information about the event should email Corina Filipescu, Business Development Officer at the University, on href="mailto:c.filipescu@abdn.ac.uk">c.filipescu@abdn.ac.uk
