Green fingered young gardeners will today (June 27) get the chance to have some floral fun.
The preschoolers are descending on the University of Aberdeen's Natural History Centre to find out more about flowers.
The two to five year olds will be taking a closer look at blooms with the help of a big lens and they will also be potting up their own plant.
After a chat about nectar eating beasties, they will then head off on a floral trail around the neighbouring Cruickshank Botanic Garden.
Sandra Bisset, Education Assistant at the Natural History Centre, said: "Our Fabulous Flowers sessions are the latest in our Nature Tots series which gives young children a chance to find out more about their environment in a fun way.
"Today's sessions should be a lot of fun and will hopefully give parents some ideas of what they can also do at home with their wee ones."
