The University of Aberdeen Graduate Business School will host an Open Evening today (Thursday 1 May) for students interested in studying for post graduate degrees in September 2008
The event, which takes place in the King's College Conference Centre from 4.30 - 8pm, will provide prospective post graduate students with a host of information on the various taught programmes which are available.
Key academic staff from degree programmes including Property, International Real Estate markets and the recently introduced International Business, Energy & Petroleum and International Business & Finance courses, will be on hand at the event to answer questions and provide information on the content of the specific programmes.
The Open Evening will provide background on the variety of career options which are open to students who have successfully completed their postgraduate degree. Members of the Alumni will also attend the event to share their insights with prospective students.
Dr Julian Randall, Director of the Graduate Business School, University of Aberdeen says: "The Open Evening is a unique opportunity for students considering continuing their education at the University to discover more about the programmes available through the Graduate Business School.
"A wide range of courses are available to study, and the event creates the occasion for prospective postgraduates to meet with the academic staff involved in these different subjects to find out more about the various courses in greater detail."
"The Open Evening is particularly timely given the recent introduction of new courses in International Business, Energy & Petroleum and International Business & Finance, which have been extremely welcome additions to the portfolio of programmes the University offers."
