Dons stars passed on their footballing know-how to city kids this week as part of the Children’s Sports School at the University of Aberdeen.
Aberdeen Football Club midfielder Josh Walker and striker Sone Aluko met local youngsters at a special coaching session at King's Playing Fields.
The Children's Sports School continues to grow in popularity with over 70 children taking part in top class sporting activities during the Easter holidays, and up to 800 over the course of the year.
The kids, all aged from five to 14-years-old, have enjoyed trampolining, swimming, gymnastics, table tennis and basketball, as well as rugby, football and athletics.
Jackie Davidson, Sports School Co-ordinator, said the School offered fantastic opportunities for children to take part in a wide range of sports.
She said: "Being healthy, active and fit is so important for children. The numbers taking part in our Sports Schools over both Easter and Summer shows that the kids love the range of activities we offer. They get the chance to participate in sports they've never tried before and to meet lots of new friends."
And Ms Davidson added that she was delighted to have the support of Aberdeen Football Club.
"It's great for the kids to be able to meet and chat with Dons stars like Sone and Josh – especially after their UEFA and Scottish Cup exploits this season – as it adds to their excitement and encourages their interest in sport in general."
