Free festive fun is on offer at action packed children’s sessions being organised by the University of Aberdeen for this weekend.
The Georgian Christmas Children's Events – taking place at the Old Town House - will feature Doric songs and story telling, arts and crafts and a look at some of the animals associated with this time of year.
The sessions are for children aged between six and ten and they take place on Saturday and Sunday from 1pm until 2pm and then again from 2.30pm until 3.30pm.
Les Wheeler, from the University's Elphinstone Institute, will provide the festive Doric entertainment.
While Mandy Tulloch from the University's Natural History Centre will talk about animals like robins and reindeer and help children make an angel for the tree and festive food for birds which they will then take home.
