Television personality Gail Porter will visit Aberdeen later this month to talk about her life in the public eye.
The former children's TV presenter and '90s pin-up recently released her autobiography, Laid Bare – My Story of Love, Fame and Survival.
Now, on Wednesday, October 24 the diminutive Scots star will land in the Granite City to talk about her triumphs and tragedies.
Porter became a lads' mag favourite in the '90s and infamously had her naked form projected on to the Houses of Parliament.
A celebrity marriage to Toploader guitarist Dan Hipgrave saw her stock rise further still, but her soaring profile masked an ongoing struggle with anorexia and bi-polar disorder.
Post-natal depression following the birth of her daughter, Honey, combined with the pressures of juggling motherhood with her career culminated in the breakdown of her marriage.
Overwhelmed by single parenthood, a suicide attempt and self-harming featured in a very public breakdown. Famously, stress-induced alopecia also caused her to lose her hair.
Co-organiser Fiona Bain said, "Gail Porter has packed more into her life so far than many people manage in a lifetime. We're delighted to welcome her to the University for what promises to be a fascinating evening."
Gail will be at King's College Conference Centre from 6.30pm to discuss her autobiography, answer questions and conduct a book signing.
