Paintings, pottery and other craft items created by artists from across the North-East are set to go on show in Aberdeen.
Over 30 items will go on display at Marischal Museum as part of the North-East Open Studios (NEOS) exhibition, which shows work by artists and crafts-people from across the region.
NEOS is a not-for-profit collective of artists, makers and galleries. It was formed in 2003 to bring the wealth of creative talent throughout the North-East to wider audiences.
It also helps to grow small-scale art and craft business in North-East Scotland, and provides a cohesive network of professional artists and makers.
This year's Open Studio event will be the largest of its kind in Scotland, with many talented new participants as well as fresh work from those who have submitted before.
Neil Curtis, Senior Curator in Marischal Museum, said: "I am pleased that we can support the open studios event by hosting this taster exhibition, bringing together the work of many talented artists."
Marga Schnell, a local artist and exhibition guest curator added, "NEOS brings together a diverse range of artists, media and techniques, and I really hope that this exhibition will encourage people to visit artists' studios throughout the rest of September."
On Sunday 9th September from 2-5pm, there will be a 'meet the artist' event, with most of the artists available to discuss their work.
The exhibition in Marischal Museum is open from Sunday, September 9 to Friday 5th October.
