New magazine is just the business

The pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit of the University is Aberdeen is captured in a new high quality magazine for business out this week.

Innovate is a new 48 page magazine which is published by the University of Aberdeen and is aimed at Scotland's business community and decision makers.

Professor Dominic Houlihan, Vice Principal for Research and Commercialisation, said: "We are very excited to be launching Innovate which captures the vitality of doing business with Aberdeen.

"Innovate presents and tracks opportunities for investing and collaborating with the cutting-edge research and technologies that are very much in evidence at the University of Aberdeen.

"It carries interviews with leading researchers; profiles on Aberdeen business figures; analysis from some of Scotland's most respected commentators and academics, and there is a special section dedicated to Aberdeen entrepreneurs.

"We hope Innovate will further help spread the word about the world class research that takes place at the University of Aberdeen.

"We also hope it will open new doors for even more link-ups and partnerships with industry."

Innovate is published twice a year and is available via free subscription to a broad range of business audiences including SMEs, venture capitalists, legal advisers, investment houses, business leadership organisations as well as parliamentarians and the media.

Innovate is the sister publication of the University's flagship Aberdeen magazine which is mailed to some 70,000 alumni across the world. Both are edited by Leonard Forman, Special Adviser, Office of External Affairs, at the University of Aberdeen.
