His Excellency Robert Holmes Tuttle, US Ambassador to the UK, visited King’s College at the University of Aberdeen today.

He met with Professor C Duncan Rice, Principal and Vice-Chancellor, took part in a question and answer session with international staff and students at the Linklater Rooms, and ended the visit with a tour of King’s College Chapel.

Professor Chris Gane, Vice Principal, said: “We were delighted that Ambassador Tuttle made this special visit to King’s College. The University has a long and distinguished history of links with North America, and it was a great pleasure to welcome him here.”

The Ambassador was visiting Aberdeen to speak at the All Energy Conference 2007, and meet with energy leaders.
