A top rated University of Aberdeen Unit which is striving to find the best ways of providing health care has launched a Visiting Scholar Scheme to mark its 30th Anniversary.
The scheme being launched by the Health Economics Research Unit (HERU) will offer applicants protected time for research, and a chance to advance their work.
Active researchers with a record of achievement in any field of economics can apply, and the successful person will be expected to actively engage with HERU’s research, through participation in research seminars, exchange of knowledge with other Unit members, and development of collaborative research.
HERU is a recognised centre of expertise in health economics. Researchers from HERU were awarded a grade 5 in the 2001 RAE. The Unit boasts 26 researchers and provides outstanding facilities to support research, including dedicated information search and administrative support.
