We have changed our name! We are now known as the Careers Service – we were formerly called the Careers & Appointments Service.
We are still dedicated to doing all we can to help students and graduates gain not only the skills and experience needed to start their career on graduation, but also to make those all important applications and to shine in interviews.
To help them with their career planning we have also launched an improved and expanded online service, CareerConnect
Whether students are looking for work experience or a job after graduation or further study opportunities CareerConnect is the place to start. But, it's not just a jobs board. It also carries a full listing of Careers Service Workshops and details of employer presentations as well as fairs and other events they need to know about. Students can also book their place at these events online.
If you register with CareerConnect there are further benefits too. You can create and save vacancy searches and have email updates sent directly to you when new vacancies and events are posted.
Finally, just so that you can keep track of your career planning, events to attend and those all important deadlines - register with CareerConnect and you can keep your own personal online Careers Calendar.
